What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spanish Teacher-Part time position at The Language Project?
We are hiring for the 2025/2026 school year!
The Language Project is looking for native-speaking Spanish teachers to join our team for positions starting January 2026. Before beginning, teachers will participate in paid training.
This position is for teaching Middle School students and will run twice a week: Thursdays and Fridays from approximately 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching children or teens
- Native or native-level proficiency in Spanish
- Conversational English
- Enjoys working with middle school students
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable interacting with students, parents, and school staff
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-player mindset
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.A.
General responsibilities:
- Teach TLP Spanish immersion classes at a middle school in Lee’s Summit, Missouri
- Deliver high-energy, full Spanish immersion lessons
- Prepare for classes using all lesson plans and materials provided by TLP
- Be willing to learn, grow, and participate actively in all training sessions
- Attend all required trainings and workshops (training is paid)
