Description
- Leads, directs, and manages the project accident prevention program, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and local safety requirements.
- Enforces LaneA's safety program, policies, and procedures; implements immediate corrective actions where required.
- Mentors, coaches, and evaluates safety employees, providing feedback and performance assessments.
- Develops and delivers training programs.
- Facilitates orientations, toolbox talks, and regular safety meetings with field crews, subcontractors, and professional staff.
- Participates in regulatory inspections.
- Investigates near misses, injuries, and incidents; and leads root cause analysis to ensure corrective measures prevent recurrence.
- Monitors incident trends and proactively implements measures to reduce risks and improve safety performance.
- Communicates with the corporate claims department to ensure accurate documentation of asset losses and workersA' compensation claims.
- Collaborates with project leadership to integrate safety into planning, scheduling, and execution of work activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's Degree
Certifications
CIH, CSP preferred
Employment Conditions
