Responsibilities
- Collaborates with product owners, stakeholders, and others to identify requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.
- Ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Mentors, coaches, provides feedback and evaluates performance of staff members.
- Champions Agile practices and principles within the development team and facilitates Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Ensures the development of high-quality software by implementing best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Promotes a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, learning, and innovation within the team.
- Identifies and mitigates risks associated with application development.
- Ensures the security and scalability of applications.
- Manages the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Stays up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of experience
- Supervisory/Management experience
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Strong SQL skillset (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and experience working with SQL Server, Oracle DBs
- ERP experience required
- Cloud technologies (AWS & Microsoft) experience preferred
