About the Role
The Linen Runner plays an important role in supporting the Housekeeping and Laundry teams by ensuring clean linens, towels, and supplies are delivered where they are needed throughout the resort. This position helps keep operations running smoothly by maintaining organized linen rooms, transporting laundry carts, stocking supplies, and supporting room readiness for arriving guests. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member who enjoys staying active, takes pride in maintaining organized workspaces, and is committed to supporting a clean, welcoming environment for guests and fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport clean linen carts from the laundry facility to designated linen storage rooms throughout the resort.
- Stock and replenish linen rooms with appropriate quantities of towels, sheets, blankets, pillowcases, and other guest supplies.
- Monitor linen inventory levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs to supervisors.
- Collect and transport soiled linens and towels to the laundry area as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in linen rooms, storage areas, supply closets, and laundry workspaces.
- Deliver additional linens, towels, or supplies to guest rooms and team members when requested.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or cleanliness issues throughout the property.
- Follow all safety procedures and proper lifting techniques when handling carts, supplies, and linen loads.
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests and fellow team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, laundry, hospitality, or related experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely maneuver fully loaded linen carts throughout the property.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, kneel, stoop, and climb stairs throughout an entire shift.
