Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing the organization's operations and programs
- Demonstrate effective communication, lead by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident' care and well-being
- Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships
- Have a direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a top-notch team
- Create a positive environment, which encourages creative, positive problem solving and overall job satisfaction for team members
- Participate and be accountable for oversight of all marketing and sales activities, in order to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and build relationships within the local area that drives referrals into the community
- Responsible for the financial management in order to meet financial targets and to maximize return
- Develop a thorough working knowledge of state regulations, policies and procedures dictated for residents; ensures compliance
Required Qualifications:
- AZ Assisted Living Managers Certification
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, Hospital, Administration, or Health related field
- Proven experience as Executive Director or in other managerial position
- Aptitude for analytical thinking, capable of creative solutions to solve problems thoroughly and rapidly
- Impeccable organizational skills and leadership abilities
- Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision and discipline
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment in a friendly and professional manner
- Demonstrate exemplary attitude, work ethic, and unwavering integrity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Contribute to an incredible customer service experience
- Ability to relate well to residents and their families
- Self-motivated, organized and professional. Have a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance
- Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
