Using the Montessori approach to memory care, you will help create and implement fulfilling programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities- Develop, organize, and implement engaging activities tailored to residents with dementia and memory care needs.
- Utilize the Montessori approach to create meaningful and stimulating programs that encourage independence and cognitive engagement.
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure activities are safe, appropriate, and beneficial for all participants.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
- Provide compassionate support to residents, family members, and staff to create a positive and enriching environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve activity programs based on resident needs and feedback.
- Experience working with individuals with dementia and memory care activity planning.
- Familiarity with the Montessori approach to memory care is highly preferred.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple activities and schedules effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and patient demeanor.
