The Landings of Carbondale is currently hiring Dietary Aides. All the duties and standards of this position will be performed according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines within the department and the organization. These examples of work are not all encompassing or restrictive, and are expected to vary with changing needs and priorities. Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in serving meals as necessary, and on a timely basis and in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner always.
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Carry out waste to proper disposal area and keep work area clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
- Perform dish-washing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils, etc. are readily available for next meal.
- Follow established infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks.
- Assure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained to perform such duties/services.
Qualifications will include:
- High school or equivalent
- Previous Dietary experience preferred.
