What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant position at The Landings of Carbondale?
The Landings at Reed Station Crossing in Carbondale, IL is seeking a full-time CNA. Must have a genuine interest in geriatric care. Must be able to adjust self to diversified types of personalities and use tact and judgment in dealing with varying situations. Must use tact and courtesy in dealing with clients, their families and visitors. Other responsibilities will include:
- Provides patient care related support including services relative to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by the Director of Nursing
- Successfully protects resident privacy in all aspects of care. Ensures that resident’s rights are protected and that resident concerns are addressed in a professional and timely manner.
- Interacts and maintains effective working relationships with other team members.
- The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Qualifications will include:
- High school or equivalent
- Illinois CNA Certification
- Current CPR Certification
