What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deck FOH Supervisor position at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club Logo?
- Greet and communicate with all members in a warm, courteous, and prompt manner.
- Ensure prompt and courteous service to all members.
- Monitor employees to ensure service is provided in accordance with club standards, as well as safety and health codes – earn ServSafe Certification.
- Strictly adhere to club policies and procedures.
- Continuously walking all areas to maintain astute awareness of dining room flow & cleanliness.
- Constantly monitoring the flow of service from a member’s entrance to the club throughout the entire dining experience. Paying particular attention to areas with low visibility such as patio seating.
- Monitor and track ticket times in the kitchen and bar, communicate up-to-date ticket times with team members.
- Assist with food running and expo duties when necessary.
- Delegate work and station assignments to team members to ensure excellent service.
- Manage member wait times.
- Proactively respond to needs arising from members, resolve complaints/concerns in a timely manner, determine reasonable accommodations.
- Facilitate communication between FOH and BOH.
- Assist Deck Attendants with dining room maintenance, ice cream, order taking/delivery, and coffee as needed.
- Assist with bartending duties as necessary.
- Guide and coach team members toward efficient time management throughout service when necessary.
- Complete closing duties up to 3 shifts per week:
- Check out all FOH employees side work.
- Shut down all TVs, audio systems, lights.
- Secure clubhouse, ensure all entrances and storage areas are locked.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
