Pastry Assistant Requirements:

• Gather ingredients and equipment to prepare desserts and pastrie
• Follow standard recipes and procedures to deliver high-quality food in a specified time limit
• Deliver pastries of the highest quality and consistency
• Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, desserts, ice creams, and baked items
• Support pastry production for à la carte dining, banquets, and special events
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• Assist with plating, garnishing, and dessert presentation
• Effectively manage, store, label, and rotate pastry ingredients and finished products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry workstations and equipment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Assist with prep lists, station setup, and breakdown
• Support pastry chefs with special projects and events as assigned
• Communicate effectively with pastry and culinary team members
• Complies with departmental and Club appearance standards
• Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures
• Works effectively with as a team with all departmental employees
• Works variety of shifts, as needed to include night
• All other job duties as assigned

Pastry Assistant Physical Requirements:

• Standing and/or walking 95% of shift.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds for 30 % of shift.
• Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching for 50% of shift.
