Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and efficiency, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. This is primarily a Thursday through Sunday job. Please specify whether you are looking for the PT Prep position or the FT cook position. We will gladly train the prep position. The line cook position requires verifiable experience and be included in your resume.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders during busy service hours
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety
• Willingness to do whatever is needed to make sure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality food production

Skills

• Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is essential
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a very fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward serving guests

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
