Located on the scenic waterfront of Lake Tulloch in Northern California, The Lakes Treatment Center is a residential behavioral health facility focused on helping individuals overcome substance use disorders and co-occurring biomedical and mental health challenges. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and conducting health assessments during detoxification and throughout residential treatment.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to obtain health histories and complete medical clearances for admissions.
• Assess, document, and monitor patient symptoms, progress, and response to treatment.
• Coordinate with internal and external healthcare providers to schedule appointments and obtain medications, lab results, records, and other necessary information.
• Administer various medical tests, including but not limited to toxicology screenings and pregnancy tests.
• Ensure the medical safety and well-being of residents throughout their stay.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid and unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of California.
• Current CPR and BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of medical procedures and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols.
• Great Opportunity for New Graduates! Knowledge or experience in behavioral health/addiction treatment is preferred but not required for candidates with a willingness to learn.
