Job Summary:
- Perform treatments to designed standards on a timely basis and provide superior guest services
- Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Cleans and disinfects all equipment on a daily basis
- Maintains the highest level of nail care knowledge for both hands and feet and has complete knowledge of all spa services presently offered. Understands the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guests
- Answers guests’ questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Recommends products for home use. Suggests to guests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa
- Attends all scheduled meetings
- Attends scheduled professional trainings. Reports any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team
- Begins and ends all treatments on scheduled time
- Works assigned schedule.
- Arrives and departs from the spa at scheduled time
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of cosmetology therapy concepts, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guest, management, and staff
- Knowledge, understanding, and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions
- Excellent customer service skills and work ethic
- Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
- Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
Education:
- High school education or equivalent. Valid state license in nail services or other credentials required by the state
Typical Physical / Mental Demands:
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch
- Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push at least 30 lbs
- Must have good near and far vision
