Breakfast Host
Location: Sedro-Woolley, WA
Join our team as a Breakfast Host at our new 49-room boutique hotel in Sedro-Woolley! We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dependable individual to provide an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests. As a Breakfast Host, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming start to each guest’s day by preparing, presenting, and maintaining our buffet-style breakfast service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a buffet-style breakfast, following standardized recipes and ServSafe guidelines.
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet line, ensuring all food and beverage items are fresh, stocked, and presented attractively.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing questions or requests and providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Tear down the buffet line after service, storing leftovers appropriately and cleaning serving areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring proper sanitation standards are met.
- Complete daily prep for the next day’s breakfast service, including portioning ingredients and organizing supplies.
- Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and communicate restocking needs to management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices; ServSafe certification is a bonus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude with excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
