Pizza Maker/Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a love for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Pizza/Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas/food according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
• Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and taste.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques.
• Participate in menu planning by providing input on new pizza recipes or specials.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.

Skills

• Experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
• Proficient in food preparation techniques, including knife skills.
• Knowledge of culinary practices related to pizza making and baking.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in a busy kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with dietary needs and menu planning is a plus.
• A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
