What are the responsibilities and job description for the Premium Services Intern position at THE KRAFT GROUP?
SUMMARY
The Premium Services Intern plays a key role in supporting the Premium Services Food & Beverage department. This hands-on internship provides exposure to front-and back-of- house operations, event planning, and guest service for large-scale, high-profile events. This role directly supports the execution of premium experiences that help maintain Gillette Stadium’s esteemed reputation as a premier venue.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rotate through multiple functional areas within the Premium Services Food and Beverage department, including front-of-house operations, back-of-house support, event setup, and planning meetings.
- Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings to stay informed on projects, timelines, and operational priorities.
- Support day-to-day operational tasks between events to ensure event readiness and successful execution.
- Learn and assist with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), gaining exposure to event preparation, coordination, and execution process.
- Assist with event planning activities, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with internal teams and partners.
- Serve food and beverages during events with a strong focus on attention to detail, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the catering and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to quality and service standards.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibility
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equal technical degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan ahead, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong customer service focus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend and be able to lift 40 pounds.
- Must be able to climb a ladder.
- Must have a flexible schedule including nights, mornings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations effectively and professionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The noise level in the work environment is often loud
- Will work in all types of weather, including extreme heat and cold
- This is a fast-paced environment with many moving parts
