What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Intern position at THE KRAFT GROUP?
SUMMARY
The Culinary Intern supports the Culinary Department by assisting with a variety of operational tasks to help deliver best-in-class food quality and service at Gillette Stadium. This hands-on internship provides exposure to multiple areas of Culinary Operations, including suites, catering, concessions, and team-affiliated food service operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rotate through various departments within Culinary Operations to gain valuable insight into how the Catering, Suites, Revolution, and Patriots Culinary Departments operate.
- Attend departmental meetings and assist with administrative and operational follow-up as needed.
- Support day-today culinary operations tasks based on assigned area of focus.
- Assist with event day preparations including suites, catering and concessions.
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibility
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equal technical degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan ahead, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong customer service focus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend and be able to lift 40 pounds.
- Must be able to climb a ladder.
- Must have a flexible schedule including nights, mornings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
- Must be able to handle stressful situations effectively and professionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The noise level in the work environment is often loud
- Will work in all types of weather, including extreme heat and cold
- This is a fast-paced environment with many moving parts
