Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Upsell menu items by recommending add-ons or specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Assist with food prep tasks like slicing ingredients, assembling toppings, and restocking supplies to keep the kitchen well-organized.
• Support other team members by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and ensuring overall restaurant cleanliness for an optimal dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability in customer service, cashiering, and upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
• Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus; experience in cafes or grocery stores is beneficial.
