What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Designer - Columbus position at The Kleingers Group?
The Staff Designer Responsible for designing and drafting civil engineering projects under the guidance of assigned staff. This includes site layout, utility design and profiles, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management. Responsible for the production of civil engineering documents while adhering to client requirements, code requirements, and site adjustments. The Staff Designer would occasionally have interaction with employees outside of their department, rarely have interaction with clients, rarely interact with the public (agencies, government entities, etc.), and rarely participate in selling to clients. The Staff Designer is expected to project a professional presence, representing the Company and the department in a positive light, and have advanced level of software knowledge of at least one (1) engineering software package. This role is not required to have a Professional Engineering license. |
