Position Summary
As a Shelter Overnight Monitor, you are one of our Frontline Heroes, ensuring the safety, stability, and care of our shelter participants during overnight hours. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, secure environment for those we serve.
We’re looking for individuals with a heart for service, a growth mindset, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and secure environment using Housing First and Trauma-Informed Care models
- Conduct property and safety checks; take corrective action as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the shelter
- Respond to emergencies calmly and appropriately
- Support participants with empathy and professionalism
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with homeless or underserved populations a plus
- Strong interpersonal and crisis management skills
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace (in compliance with federal law)
