The Kitchen Classroom is hiring for the part-time position - Kitchen Assistant. No Guaranteed hours. Hours are as needed scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance. Must be available some nights and weekends, as we mainly operate Thursday-Sunday and weeknight classes start at 6:30pm. Some weekday availability is a plus. Typical shift is 4-5 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up and doing dishes from class and prep
- Setting up classroom space for classes and events
- Helping prep ingredients and recipes for classes
- Sweeping, Mopping, General cleaning
- General Help with class as needed by instructor(grabbing kitchen equipment, clearing tables)
- Basic service to customers - getting water and drinks, pouring wine and beer.
- Lifting/Carrying/Moving - tables, chairs, bus tubs of dishes.
- Standing and moving for majority of each shift
- Operating a basic POS system
- Serving Beer and Wine
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
