Overview
Join KBF as an Electrical Residential Supervisor and lead the electrical aspects of residential construction projects with energy and expertise! In this role, you will oversee the installation, coordination, and management of electrical systems in residential settings, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while using our CRM Tools to help guide you. You will have the ability to sell project amendments throughout the remodel phases of the project for commission.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on residential construction sites, ensuring work aligns with project specifications and safety standards
- Collaborate closely with project managers, other team members, and clients to develop detailed project schedules using tools like Buildertrend
- Review blueprints, schematics, and system designs to verify accuracy and feasibility before installation begins
- Manage procurement of electrical materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget estimates through construction estimating techniques
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for electrical issues, providing technical guidance based on electrical engineering principles and system design knowledge
- Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, change orders, contracts, and safety reports to ensure transparency and accountability
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical construction management within residential settings with strong knowledge of construction site practices
- Extensive electrical experience including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and system design understanding
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Strong understanding of NEC standards, construction management principles, and contract administration
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams of electricians and subcontractors on-site
- Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination
