Job Title: Assistant Boys Lacrosse Coach

Reports To: Head Lacrosse Coach / Athletic Director / Head of School
Position Summary:
The Kiski School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Lacrosse Coach to support
the Head Coach in all aspects of the Prep School Lacrosse Program. The ideal candidate will
bring a passion for coaching, a strong understanding of the game, and a commitment to
fostering student-athlete development both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting practices, drills, and training sessions.
● Support game preparation. Scouting opponents and building scouting reports, and
developing game strategies.
● Attend all games, scrimmages, and team events; provide in-game coaching and
feedback.
● Assist in player development, including skill instruction, strength and conditioning, and
academic support.
● Help with recruitment efforts by identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes.
● Foster a positive team culture aligned with the college’s values of sportsmanship,
integrity, and academic success.
● Support administrative tasks and parent relations
● Participate and aid in running the instagram, alumni relations, and community
engagement events.
Qualifications:
● Playing experience at the college level strongly preferred.
● Previous coaching experience at the college, high school, or club level
● Knowledge of lacrosse rules, strategies, and techniques.
● Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
● CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
● Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience with recruiting databases (e.g., Front Rush).
● Familiarity with video analysis tools (QwikCut).
● Proven ability to mentor and positively influence young adults.
