Position Overview

The Hospitality Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café and hospitality services, ensuring a high-quality experience for members and guests. This role includes managing staff, optimizing service efficiency, maintaining budgets, and upholding cleanliness and organization across coworking and event spaces. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and inspiring environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the cleanliness of The Kinn and coordinate cleaning schedules.
  • Conduct team meetings to provide updates, resolve issues, and encourage collaboration.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
  • Hire, train, and supervise hospitality and café staff, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize cost efficiency across hospitality and café operations.
  • Prepare reports, including profit and loss (P&L) statements and operational insights.
  • Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of coworking spaces, meeting rooms, event areas, and communal spaces.
  • Develop and implement systems to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and execute promotional strategies to boost sales.
  • Address member feedback to continuously improve services.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning teams to resolve any facility-related issues.
  • Ensure all morning and evening building checklists are completed to a high standard. 


Key Objectives  

  1. Manage the team to create a warm, welcoming experience and a vibrant, interactive environment at KYO and the Clubhouse.
  2. Ensure all operations and building management meet the highest standards, on par with any high-end membership club, and are continuously improved daily.
  3. Execute food and beverage service for events while consistently seeking to improve production, quality, and cost-effectiveness.


Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in hospitality management, café operations, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Passion for creating an inviting and seamless hospitality experience.
