At The Kingdom Church, Inc. we’re seeking passionate individuals who want to make an impact in the lives of youth. The Next Generation Ministries Administrator is responsible for assisting with the development and administration of programs for children, youth, and families in the areas of Christian education, discipleship, mission, and outreach at all TKC campuses. The goal of this role is to collaborate alongside the Coordinator of Next Generation Ministries to create a consistent approach to maximize the discipleship path and bring synergies across age groups, from birth to college. This position requires 2-3 work days per week to include Sundays.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)·
- Collaborate with the Coordinator of Next Generation Ministries to create, implement, and administer appropriate policies, procedures, and rules to ensure the safety of all persons involved in Next Gen Ministries
- Coordinate and help plan quarterly parent open house events that equip families to engage with the Gospel at home and in ministry with their neighbors
- Administration of children and youth ministry tasks including performance of volunteer background checks
- Assist team leads with the evaluation and purchase of appropriate resources and educational materials including curriculum, printouts, snacks, and supplies
- Gauge ministry effectiveness by defining wins to Coordinator of Next Generations Ministries and measure the markers that demonstrate that the Family Ministries are winning
- Make recommendations to the Coordinator of Next Generation Ministries regarding issues that may need to be addressed for the future development of the Next Gen Ministry.
- Support the development, empowerment, and creative space for the members of the Next Gen ministry teams that offer vision, goal setting, and execution of programs to inspire and include kids, youth, and their families
- Assist with the plan and execution of youth retreats and mission trips
- Contribute to TKC’s communications channels such as church website, social media postings, lobby monitors, bulletin boards
- Assist and collaborate with the Coordinator of Next Gen Ministries for major events of the Next Gen Ministries including annual events like the Back-to-School Bash, Fall Festival, Resurrection Celebration, Youth Conferences.
- Ensure regular effective communication, in print, whether newsletter, email, text, postal mail and/or social media is being disseminated to parents of Next Gen Ministries
- Connect and follow up with local community organizations, churches, and business leaders for collaboration efforts
- Assist with the recruitment, on-boarding, and training of volunteers for teams under your supervision
- Verify and confirm with the Coordinator of Next Generation Ministries that the event plan and the volunteer assignments have been issued
- Verify & Confirm with the Coordinator of Next Generations Ministries that all events are setup
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree in related field or related experience (preferred); experience/history in teaching, mentoring, coaching (preferred)
- Training & Certifications: Minimum of three years verifiable children and youth ministry employment history (required); CPR Certified, First Aid Certified or equivalent training (required)
- Administrative Skills: Mastery (full comprehension and able to train) in Planning Center Online software (Services, Groups, Check-ins, Calendar); Proficient (full comprehension) in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, EZ Office Inventory
- Visionary & Innovation: Creativity and innovative thinking about ministering to the next generation; a clear calling to work with preschoolers, children, youth, college students and their families
- Spiritual Maturity & Team Mindset: Model standards and expectations of church leaders within our fellowship, including worship attendance, Growth Group participation, lifestyle of generosity, and serving out of call and giftedness; doctrinally aligned with TKC’s Statement of Faith, doctrinal positions, mission, vision, and core values

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
