What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Program Manager position at The King's Daughters' School?
Lead a residential team dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential in a warm, family-like environment.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm (some flexibility outside of this schedule required due to program needs).
What You'll Do
- Lead by example - Model best practices while directly supporting residents and mentoring staff
- Shape individual futures - Develop personalized goals and programs that promote independence
- Create positive environments - Ensure each residence feels like home while maintaining high standards of care
- Drive continuous improvement - Collaborate with leadership to enhance program and staff performance
- Age 21 with a Bachelor's degree and genuine passion for serving individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver's license and availability to work Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm with some flexibility depending on program needs
- Natural leadership abilities with strong communication skills
- Physical capability for hands-on care (lifting 40 lbs, therapeutic holds, ADLs, cleaning)
- Must pass background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions) and drug screen
