What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Assistant position at The King's Daughters' School?
Looking for a rewarding overnight role? Spend your nights making a positive impact by supporting clients ages 7-22 with autism in a safe, caring environment.
Enjoy more days off, you will work 3 nights per week on a rotating 7 PM to 7 AM schedule.
Job duties include:
- Caring for clients with intellectual disabilities and autism
- Following a nightly cleaning checklist
- Performing routine bed checks.
- Assisting students in waking and preparing for the day
Qualifications:
We prefer candidates with some background, but we're willing to train the right person who shows genuine interest and dedication.
What we need from you:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical stamina (you'll be active, not stuck in a chair).
- Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
- Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients.
- Willing to complete TB skin test and work physical upon hire
