At Kettle On Coast, we believe breakfast and lunch can be something more—crafted with intention, rooted in quality, and served with care. Our Oceanside kitchen is growing, and we’re looking for a Line Cook who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of building something meaningful.
This role is for someone who understands that great food starts with discipline, flows through teamwork, and ends with thoughtful presentation. You’ll work directly under our Executive Chef, helping execute a menu that elevates classic diner staples into something entirely unique.
The Role
As a Line Cook, you are a key part of the kitchen’s rhythm. You’ll be responsible for preparing and executing dishes with precision, managing tickets efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized station. You’ll help ensure that every plate leaving the kitchen reflects our standards, where quality and consistency are non-negotiable.
What You’ll Do
- Execute breakfast and lunch dishes with accuracy and care
- Manage orders and maintain smooth kitchen flow during service
- Prepare ingredients and maintain organized, fully stocked stations
- Follow recipes and plating standards set by the Executive Chef
- Prioritize both flavor and presentation on every plate
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization
- Support seasonal menu changes and daily specials

Requirements
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, and peak service hours
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation
- $17–$19.50 per hour, depending on experience
