Key Objective

As a UV Flexo Press Operator, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality labels and packaging solutions. You will set up, operate, and maintain a servo-driven narrow web UV Flexographic Press, ensuring consistent print quality while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate a UV Flexo press to produce jobs according to specifications (UV flexo experience required).
• Set up press for printing and die-cutting, including installing tooling and mounting plates.
• Load substrate, verify ink and material specs, and ensure proper curing with UV systems.
• Set print impression, adjust ink and curing settings, and perform color-to-color registration.
• Troubleshoot print, curing, and mechanical issues quickly to reduce downtime.
• Monitor print quality throughout the run, performing frequent checks and adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance, including UV lamp care, cleaning, oiling, and minor repairs.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with all SOPs and safety protocols.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience operating UV Flexo narrow web presses such as Mark Andy, Nilpeter, MPS, Omet, or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of UV curing systems, inks, substrates, and press mechanics.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency, waste reduction, and quality.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work physically as required for press operation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
