Job Purpose:
Provide support for individuals throughout the vocational process and assist with job development activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Co-facilitate peer support groups.
- Co-facilitate job seeking and job-keeping support groups.
- Receive direct supervision from the Employment Services Manager. Much of the daily operations with individuals served must be conducted without direct supervision.
- Assist with job development activities.
- Work as an integral member of each individual’s team.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED. In lieu of education, one year of experience facilitating support groups and/or providing individual supports for people with psychiatric disabilities.
- Must be a recovering individual of psychiatric services.
- Understand the vocational challenges and issues facing individuals with psychiatric disabilities.
- Must have a work history and strong work ethic.
- Must be willing to serve as a role model.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Must maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- You are required to be in possession of a car on-site during your entire shift to transport yourself and/or individuals served to community sites in all weather conditions and throughout all neighborhoods.
- Depending upon the assignment must be able to work in a variety of settings and locations.
- Must maintain PMT, and CPR Certifications.
- Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office and the internet.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Communicate clearly in oral and written form on a constant basis.
- Organize people, activities, and budgeting.
- Work independently, utilize good judgment and possess a strong sense of initiative.
Physical Requirements:
- Move weights up to 15 pounds on an occasional basis.

- Two-week new hire orientation including an introduction to the agency, site tours, and employer-funded CPR & PMT certification.
- Two weeks of job-specific trainings and shadowing at your worksite
- Check-ins with Human Resources after your first 30, 60, and 90 days
