Position Summary

This position is responsible and accountable for the operations of an assigned geographic area.

Essential Functions

• Provide strategic direction of all operational matters to drive revenue growth and profitability
• Hire, discipline, evaluate, and mentor Terminal Managers
• Oversee the entire operations for assigned area
• Accountable for all product delivery
• Enforce company policies
• Responsible for terminal P&Ls. Review profit and loss with terminal managers, guide them on improving profit
• Accountable for driver scheduling and truck utilization
• Assist, support, and direct managers in the completion of their tasks
• Identify and develop new leadership for succession planning

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in business related field or equivalent business experience
• 5 years of experience as terminal manager experience in transportation
• 8 years of operations experience in transportation
• Effective organizational and communication skills
