This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:
- Conduct regular fabrication facility safety inspections, audits and hazard assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company and customer safety requirements
- Administer various safety programs, including job hazard assessments, observation reports and audits
- Investigate near miss, first aid, injury and property damage incidents
- Serve as a point of contact for fabrication facility employees regarding safety concerns
- Complete safety equipment inspections
- Assist with and/or conduct safety training and meetings
- Perform basic computer skills
- OSHA Construction/General Industry Outreach Trainer certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Bilingual - English/Spanish
