Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cook to join our culinary team. We are seeking a cook that knows both breakfast and lunch cooking styles and is used to short order small kitchen work. Position will be part-time at first with an opportunity for more shifts after training is complete. Pay range is based on experience from $15-$20/hour- top pay for experienced individual. Great atmosphere and family feel restaurant. Position will go quick!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Provide support to dietary aides and other kitchen staff as required.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook for breakfast and lunch items.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and safety practices.
- Experience in high-volume cooking environment is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and working well with others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
