Hotel LeVeque is seeking a dynamic and service-driven Food & Beverage Operations Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, this position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple outlets. While serving as the primary leader of our branded coffee shop, this manager also provides operational oversight for our signature restaurant and catering events, ensuring seamless execution and luxury-level service throughout each shift.

This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a balance of strategic planning, team development, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate leads by example, isn't afraid to step behind the espresso bar when business demands it, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
What you'll be doing...
  • Oversee the daily operation of the hotel's branded coffee shop, ensuring brand standards, quality, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved.
  • Provide leadership and operational support for restaurant and banquet operations during assigned shifts.
  • Step into the Barista role as needed to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Create, publish, and manage weekly schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels while controlling labor costs.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing feedback, training, and performance management.
  • Address employee performance concerns promptly through coaching, documentation, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Partner with the coffee shop franchisor to ensure compliance with brand standards, promotions, audits, and operational expectations.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs by working with vendors, contractors, and the Engineering department to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering to maintain appropriate product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health department, and liquor regulations.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns, resolving issues to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Support department initiatives to maximize revenue while controlling expenses.
  • Collaborate with culinary, sales, catering, and other hotel departments to ensure successful event execution.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor, providing leadership and support during peak business periods.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications...
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience, preferably in an upscale or luxury hotel.
  • Previous experience supervising restaurant, coffee shop, café, or banquet operations.
  • Barista experience or willingness to actively perform barista duties as business needs require.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, guest service, and hospitality standards.
  • Experience with scheduling, labor management, and performance coaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with franchise or branded food service concepts is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospitality scheduling/POS systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work calmly under stressful situations
  • Ability to stand and walk for hours at a time
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds frequently
  • Understand this role requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, bending, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
