Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator with Civil Site Construction experience to join our team! The ideal candidate would be a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives under guidance but also excels working independently. Recent growth has led to opportunities to join our established civil construction company in the Brandon/Riverview area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review of preliminary and final civil construction plans in preparation for bid proposals.
- Review appropriate municipal specifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs of earthwork, grading, paving, utilities, and site concrete for private and public sector projects.
- Obtain and review vendor quotations.
- Various office tasks related to construction estimating on an as needed basis.
Requirements
- Able to read and interpret civil construction plans and documents.
- Able to adhere to guidelines and complete project tasks in established time frames.
- A detail-oriented team player with strong communications skills.
- Familiar with MS Office, AGTEK, Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
- Professional experience in earthwork, utilities and roadwork construction is required.
- 5 years in Civil Construction is HIGHLY preferred.
- Civil engineering or related construction degree a plus but not required.

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- Weekends as needed
