Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure they are spotless and safe for all visitors
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times
- Adhere to safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a secure work environment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing special attention or maintenance issues that require escalation
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and linen management to support sustainability efforts
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules and guest requests
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality standards
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning procedures and equipment is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in busy environments
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding guest needs
- Ability to follow safety guidelines related to chemical handling and equipment operation
