Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the pharmacy counter with professionalism and care
- Process prescription drop-offs and pick-ups accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash register transactions, including payments and insurance co-pays
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy floor
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate pharmacy staff
- Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with day-to-day operations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior retail, customer service, or pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Basic computer and cash handling skills
- Dependable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with pharmacy software or POS systems is a plus
