Compensation
Salary Range: $21.69 - $21.69 Hourly Tipped/Service Charge Eligible? No Discretionary Performance Bonus Eligible? NoOverview
The Groundskeeper will maintain the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appearance of the entire grounds.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspects and Maintain entire grounds and buildings for debris or hazards and corrects or reports them on the spot.
- Perform operational and safety checks on all grounds equipment before operating.
- Always utilizes proper use of personal safety equipment.
- Sweeps roadside, walkways, and gutters. Ensure all flower beds are clean.
- Replaces burned out or broken light bulbs and fixtures.
- Performs necessary masonry repairs.
- Assist the engineers as needed.
- Empties public trash receptacles. Replaces trash can liners.
- Must be available to work Weekends, Holidays and any shift required to work.
Must comply and follow all attendance rules, uniform policies and hotel
- Other duties as assigned
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
2. Snow shoveling as necessary.
ENVIRONMENT:
Works in all areas of the property, both inside and outside possible in inclement weather. Must be able to work at various heights on ladders, roofs, etc.
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.
6 (six) months in a similar job
Valid Drivers License
Prior experience in grounds maintenance preferred and its related equipment and irrigation systems
- Use of hand tools
- Must be capable of safely operating a sweeping machine
