The Karr Group, Killington’s leading hospitality management company, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Manager to join our management team. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall condition of our diverse portfolio of hospitality properties.
Position Overview
As Facilities Manager, you will oversee all aspects of building maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements across multiple high-traffic locations. You’ll lead a maintenance team, coordinate projects, and ensure our facilities consistently meet high operational and safety standards.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day facilities maintenance and operations across all properties
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff, ensuring efficient workflow
- Manage repair timelines and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Operate heavy equipment as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
- Hands-on maintenance experience and strong diagnostic skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with maintenance scheduling and project coordination
- Budgeting and financial management experience preferred
- Microsoft Office proficient
- High school diploma required; vocational or technical certification a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Compensation
- $60,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience
