The Karr Group, Killington’s leading hospitality management company, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our management team.
In this role, you will oversee the upkeep, safety, and day-to-day functionality of multiple properties. You’ll manage building maintenance, lead facilities staff, coordinate repair schedules, and ensure all locations operate smoothly and efficiently.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, reliable professional with strong technical skills, hands-on experience in general building maintenance, and proven leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance and operations across multiple properties
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate daily tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
- Operate heavy equipment as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to assess issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with maintenance scheduling and staff coordination
- Proven project management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school diploma required; vocational/technical training a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
