The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily cleaning operations, inspecting rooms for quality standards, and training staff to ensure high quality according to Marriott standards. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily cleaning operations, inspecting rooms for quality standards, and training staff to ensure high quality according to Marriott standards. The Housekeeping Supervisor reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
Essential Functions
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager with implementing the key control system for the housekeeping department
- Monitor all rooms to include appliances, furniture, room supplies and general appearance of rooms to ensure the appearance of luxury hotel standards
- Conduct daily inspections for all arriving VIP guests
- Ensure lobby, guest hallways, back of house and housekeeping areas are cleaned and well organized at all times
- Retain detailed inventory of all needed housekeeping supplies and amenities for supply ordering
- Ensure guest confidentiality, privacy and security by correctly following hotel procedures
- Motivate, coach, and counsel Room, House, and Lobby Attendants
- Monitor work orders and submit to Maintenance Department according to procedures
- Respond to all guest requests, situations, complaints and accidents presented to housekeeping in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner
- Uphold a professional working relationship with coworkers from the housekeeping team as well as other departments
- Empowers team members to provide an exceptional guest experience
- Assist with preparing housekeeping team weekly schedule
- Greet and welcome all guests in public areas
Education & Experience
- Housekeeping experience required
- Hospitality/hotel experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaker strongly preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand and be on feet extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekend and evening
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and provide direction to others
