Marketing and Sales Team Member – Kansas City Renaissance Festival
Step into a role where creativity, community, and a little bit of magic come together! The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is seeking enthusiastic, organized, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Marketing and Sales team member. This full-time, year-round role offers the rare opportunity to work behind the scenes at one of the Midwest’s most beloved, long-running festivals.
What You’ll Do
As part of our festival family, you’ll help bring the magic to life by:
- Directly impact the festival’s growth by making outbound sales and sponsorship calls.
- Supporting marketing campaigns and on-site promotional activities
- Helping coordinate and execute special events and themed weekends
- Assisting with general festival operations especially during the fall season
- Become an expert in all things KC Renfest, especially to help our patrons
- Pitching in with fun, light social media content when needed
This role blends outreach, creativity, customer engagement, and hands-on event work. If you love variety, this is the job for you.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in marketing, sales, or customer service
- Comfortable with computers, phone calls, and fast-paced days
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bonus points for Canva, CapCut, or basic design/video editing skills
- Reliable personal transportation
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- A positive attitude, sense of humor, and willingness to be part of the magic
Availability Needed
- Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (year-round)
- Evening and weekend hours during festival events (August–October)
Compensation
- $15.00 per hour (based on experience)
