Assembly and Machine Operations Technician

Picture your shift: you clock in, check today’s product specs, and get your station ready. You retrieve materials, set up your machine, and confirm everything is safe and aligned to procedure. As production ramps, you keep a steady rhythm—operating equipment to standard, harvesting finished material, cleaning as you go, and keeping communication (5 1) clear with teammates and adjacent departments. Some moments you’re fully independent; other moments you’re collaborating within a functional group to hit goals. Either way, you’re producing quality work safely, with or without direct supervision.

• Operate assigned machines per established procedures and product specifications.
• Retrieve materials, perform machine set-up, and ensure cleaning and basic upkeep of your area.
• Harvest finished material and confirm output meets quality and production standards.
• Work safely at all times and deliver quality work within production targets.
• Interact professionally with coworkers and contribute effectively within a team.
• Work independently while maintaining effective communication (5 1) and coordinating with other employees and departments.
• Assist in your area and support other production departments as needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of assembly experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort lifting 10–25 lbs frequently and 25–50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to stand on concrete for an entire shift and stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to walk up ladders or stairs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, and kneel.
• Good hand/eye coordination and strong communication skills.
