JOB PURPOSE
The Client Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance and support. This role is responsible for providing high-quality customer service, managing client intake processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the efficient delivery of services. The position plays a vital role in promoting a welcoming environment that reflects the organization's mission to uphold dignity, compassion, and equity for every client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle daily front desk tasks, including phone inquiries, voicemail management, assisting with client check-in (drive-thru and walk-ins )
- Assist with clerical duties and provide general administrative support
- Assist in maintaining accurate records
- Schedule, and reschedule appointments efficiently
- Ensure precise client demographic data entry and regularly update profiles in Salesforce
- Respond to referrals from outside platforms
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1 year of Non- Profit Experience (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- 2 years of administrative, client services, preferably in a social services or community-based organization. (required)

- Experienced with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Google Meet)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated experience in managing client information accurately and efficiently
- Preferred: Experience handling referrals and providing customer service in fast-paced environments
WORK SCHEDULE & EXPECTATIONS
- This is a part-time position (approximately 20-25 hours per week, not exceeding 29 ).
- Standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 11:30 am with flexibility as needed.
- Occasional on-call or emergency support may be required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Must attend six mandatory 'Pop Up & Give' events per year
- Must possess valid unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handlers Card
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed (e.g., moving boxes, program materials, or meal packages).
- Comfortable working in both office and community-based settings, including occasional outdoor exposure during client check-ins or meal delivery support.
- Ability to operate office equipment, computer systems, and telephone.
