Role Description The Medical Director – Integrative Wellness & Aesthetics is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the clinical quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of all wellness and aesthetics services. This role includes reviewing and approving treatment protocols, supervising advanced practice providers, and providing telehealth consultations and follow-up care as appropriate. The Medical Director will collaborate with the leadership team to refine service offerings, integrate evidence-based practices, and support continuous improvement in client outcomes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of integrative medicine and aesthetics, participating in staff training, and contributing to client education materials and clinical gu
idelines.Qualifications
- Advanced clinical expertise in integrative or functional medicine, primary care, or a related specialty, with demonstrated experience in wellness-focused patient care.
- Experience in aesthetic medicine or cosmetic procedures (e.g., injectables, skin health, regenerative treatments) and familiarity with current best practices in aesthetics.
- Strong skills in telehealth practice, remote patient assessment, and clinical documentation, with comfort using digital health platforms and electronic medical records.
- Ability to develop, review, and optimize clinical protocols, ensure adherence to regulatory and ethical standards, and oversee quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and providing guidance to advanced practice providers.
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care, with an interest in longevity, preventive health, and personalized wellness strategies.
- Active and unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in relevant jurisdiction; board certification in an appropriate specialty strongly preferred.
- Prior leadership, medical directorship, or supervisory experience in a clinic, med spa, or wellness practice is highly beneficial.
