- The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. Servers must maintain a professional, friendly, and attentive attitude while upholding the restaurant’s standards of service and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Check back with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or requests.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, ingredients, and allergy information.
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, service stations, and dining areas.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management when necessary.
