Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and OpenTable reservations with precision and professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service during busy hours
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles or related positions within the food industry is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential
