Responsibilities
Your role is vital to the guest experience and the overall energy of the establishment. Key duties include:
- Drink Preparation & Service: Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station; ensuring glassware is polished and ingredients are fresh.
- Guest Engagement: Providing exceptional service by greeting guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their tastes.
- Cash Handling & POS: Accurately processing payments, managing tabs, and ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly in the POS system.
- Safety & Compliance: Verifying guest identification to ensure legal drinking age and monitoring alcohol consumption to promote a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Certification: Must have a valid Alcohol Server Permit (e.g., TIPS or LEAD) and a Food Handlers Certificate.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and wine; ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: A proactive attitude with the ability to communicate effectively with servers, security, and kitchen staff.
- Experience: Previous experience in bartending or high-volume hospitality is a plus, but we are willing to train candidates with the right personality and work ethic!
