The Assistant Team Leader at The Juicery in Durham helps to facilitate the overall day to day operations of our quick serve restaurant. As an Assistant Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for customer relations, product ordering and inventory, hiring, and administrative tasks.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-years of experience in restaurant operations, prior restaurant supervising experience is a bonus. Major responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Direct day-to-day operations of the store
- Creating and oversee store schedule
- Facilitate product ordering and store inventory
- Daily cash handling
- Hiring, training, and developing staff
- Create and maintain a positive work environment
- Overseeing and enforcing food safety procedures
- Provide outstanding leadership to support and grow your team
The Juicery is an independently owned and operated quick serve restaurant chain operating in multiple states throughout New England. This juice bar is driven by producing high quality and healthy alternatives to other quick serve options that consumers have in the marketplace.

Prior Experience & Qualifications:
Candidates with prior experience in the following items will be considered for the position of Assistant Team Leader:
- Experience with handling orders in a high-volume environment
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience with hiring, onboarding, and training team members
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior food service experience (preferred, but not required!)
- Full-time availability
Compensation:
- Our pay structure includes an hourly base rate of $15/hour. With an estimated average of an additional $5.00 - $6.00 per hour in tips. (Please note tips are not guaranteed.)
