Responsibilities
- Make smoothies, juices, toasts, ACAI bowls, etc
- Maintain clean work environment by cleaning surfaces, floors, taking out trash
- Train employees and monitor operations to ensure customers’ expectations are exceeded
- Resolve conflicts that may arise from customers or employees in a professional manner
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food services
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
Employee Management
- Assign tasks and position team members in proper stations to ensure efficiency
- Hold team accountable for the completion of opening and closing checklists
- Position and reposition team members based on strengths during high volume periods Coordinate breaks while ensuring all positions are covered
- Monitor customer service and ticket times
- Promote positive vibes and energy
- Handle any discrepancies with guests
- Issue refunds when appropriate
Product Management
- Conduct daily inventory and assist in projecting ordering volume
- Ensure each station is prepped and stocked for shift and potential rush
- Ensure quality of blends and toppings, while ensuring appropriate temperature and portions
- Quality control of blend recipe and consistency
- Quality control of food prep
- Quality control of toppings
Money Management
- Open and Close Registers
- Count currency and create cash accountability reports (Cash Sheet)
- Resolve currency shortage or overage problems
- Ensure that we have enough change (coins/dollars) at the start of their shift'
